Our dogs are eagerly waiting to meet you.  We ask that you choose your new best friend carefully and be a responsible pet owner. Viewing hours for dogs are 9.00am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 1.00pm Saturday and Sunday.

Please note our adoption requirements

• Leave yourself plenty of time. An adoption can take up to an hour to choose and complete the necessary paperwork.

• Have proof of identity

• Be 18 years or over

• Bring all the members of your household to meet the pet

• We do not adopt out pets as presents or surprises without the recipient being present to meet and bond with the animal

• Confirm you have your landlord’s permission if living in rented premises.

Adoption Fee

$300.00 for dogs in the Shelter

$340.00* for dogs in foster care

This includes desexing, microchipping, worming, initial vaccination and compulsory lifetime registration with your local Council.

* Includes booster vaccination

Please note some purebred dogs may cost extra. 

General Information

The age given for dogs is their approximate age on the date they were listed for adoption.  To obtain the current age, please add on the weeks elapsed since that date.

Please note that descriptions of dogs as purebred (rather than crossbreed) are given in good faith and based on assessment of the dog’s features together with veterinary opinion. We cannot guarantee the age, purebred status or temperament of any dogs listed.
